Event Details:
Music evolves. Musical language has been evolving over time, from simple and harmonic to more complicated and dissonant. Somewhere along the line some of the audience got lost. We asked two performers to put together a programm to relate two different musical languages from two different times. They have chosen these pieces to stitch a line between them. We invite you to join them and follow along in this performance, tracing how the past can point the way to the present and future.
Music evolves, so should the audience.
Katarzyna Kowalik is a Polish-British harpsichordist based in London, known for her inventive programming and boundary-pushing collaborations that connect early music with contemporary expression.
